I love this vet!!! they have been great to our cats and my moms cats. I referred my mom to them. They helped us with a big move from WA to HI. I have always been able to call them and ask questions even though we are stationed in HI now. I have been with them for about 8-9 years. with the different location moves. and still the customer service has been great!!
Really impressed with the entire staff here. Dr. Bruce is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain everything, Both our kitties have been seen here and we always get plenty of time with the vet and all our questions answered. They’ve been very practical with treatment plans too. These things are never cheap but they walk a fine line between caring and being sensitive to the costs.
The entire staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. The office and exam rooms are clean and there is rarely a wait longer than 5 minutes in the lobby to see the either Dr.
Scheduling has a much quicker turn around time than I’ve experienced at other vet offices and they can fit you in if you have an immediate health concern for your pet.
Dr. Fritz and the entire staff took amazing care of my Chihuahua, Marco. Marco fell ill last year and Crossroads Vet provided compassionate care for my boy during that time. Marco was boarded for over a week at Crossroads since he was ill and couldn’t be left at a traditional boarding house. He was well taken care of during that time.
Dr. Bruce worked with us for Marco’s end of life plan and was very understanding and explained exactly what we should expect. It brought tears to my eyes when I received a card in the mail signed by everyone in the office regarding Marco’s passing. It is obvious that Crossroads Vet cares about their animal clients and their families, they have gained my loyalty.
We came here recently to have our cat get his annual checkup and rabies shot. He was also being boarded soon so he needed a flea dosing even though he’s an indoor cat. Dr. Bruce and his staff were super friendly and helpful. My cat seemed to enjoy himself even though he was in a strange place! We are definitely coming back again.
Crossroads is the best! I have two dogs and have always had excellent experiences here. My older dog is a chocolate lab who has been to Crossroads twice for emergency situations, one time requiring emergency surgery. Both times Crossroads got him in right away with no problem and took excellent care of him. My other younger dog is terrified of the vet and spends the entire visit growling at everyone and trying to hide behind me. The staff at Crossroads is super patient and gentle with her even though she does not make it easy to do even a basic check up. I also appreciate that they have weekend appointments that make it very easy to fit the vet into my schedule (I don’t even live on the Eastside any more but I love this place enough to make the trip across the lake!).
I love this vet! The staff and care are excellent. They are all complety honest and do not try to up sell anything. Dr. Bruce is very nice and always helpful. I have tried a few different vets in the area and this one is by far the best for me and my dog.
Dr. Bruce and Staff,
Words cannot express how much I appreciate all you did for Nala yesterday. I still cannot believe she is gone. I know you tried your best but as you said she just decided she was done.
To have a dog for 15 years is an amazing thing and I have been blessed to have had three to make it that far. (A lab mix you never met I had years ago made it to sixteen and you of course know Walker). Nala never would have made it as far as she did without your care. If any of you ever wondered if you made a difference in people’s lives the answer is yes.
Nala was a special dog that no one else wanted. I rescued her from the pound when she was 1 day from being put down. It was just a few months after my father died and I wasn’t even looking for a dog that day (long story). I have often wondered if she was sent to save me at the lowest point in my life because she did in more ways than anything that furry should be expected to do. I never married and never had children so Nala (and Skipper) was my entire family for years.
15 years . . . I just keep playing that over and over in my mind. I never expected the amazing journey Nala was going to take me on that day I found her and fell in love. She was a very special little creature. She saw me through the deaths of family members, a 13 month stint of unemployment when the last bubble burst, and two cross country relocations. She is also the one that chose walker (I was actually looking at another dog that day when Nala almost chewed her way thru a fence to play with him) which of course lead me to Loki. To say she has had a lasting impact on my life is an understatement. I’ll never forget her.
You all showed tremendous respect and compassion on what was the worst day in my life since my father’s death. I can’t thank you enough. The death of our pets is a natural part of life. The day anyone adopts a puppy the need to understand that they are responsible to provide that dog with the best life they can and to hold their paw t he very end as they die. It is what we sign up for as pet owners. I want to thank you all for helping me give Nala a great life and for being there with me at the end.
